Screening
Watching our beloved pets age can be hard as they age must faster than humans do. Our feline and canine friends are considered geriatric patients once they reach the age of 8-9 years old. Pets are susceptible to many diseases as they age such as cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal disorders and even hormonal disease. As pets continue to age we recommend having a yearly exam with the recommended option of a bloodwork profile. This will help in order to detect any health abnormalities and give the Doctors a baseline to use as comparison in the future.

Here are some signs to watch for as you pet begins to age: arthritic changes, losing housebroke habits, having a hard time seeing or cloudy appearance to the eyes and cognitive disfunction.
Pet End-of-Life
There is no way to ever be completely prepared for the passing of our beloved pets. We understand that this choice is never easy and can be very emotional. We ensure to help you through the process peacefully with lots of love and compassion. When considering if it is the right time the top concerns should be your pets quality of life, ongoing pain or suffering and difficulties that arise with age.

Following crossing the Rainbow Bridge we offer cremation services in order for you and your family to be able to remember your beloved pets.
